© Network Russia 2010 There are many international experiences available to members of the Scout Association here in the UK.  Applications to join in on one of Network Russia’s expeditions are open to individuals and to groups of Scouts/Leaders.  All will benefit from the bonds that will develop and the experiences gained. Winter Expedition - Explorer Scouts, Scout Network, Leaders An expedition to Russia based in an area just north of St. Petersburg in winter activities including overland skiing with Russian Scouts. February Half Term 2013  and  February Half Term 2014 An expedition in the north of Russia (Kirovsk / Karelia / Archangelsk) With Russian Scouts to enable participants to attain their Explorer Belt and contribute towards the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards. July/August possibly 2012 or 2013 or 2014 Cross Country Skiing - Scout Network / Leaders An expedition to Russia based at Kirovsk, Murmansk (Hibina Mountains) involving advanced overland skiing plus extra winter activities. End March possibly in 2013 Canoe Expeditions - Explorer Scouts / Scout Network / Leaders Intermediate Canoe Expedition in the Archangelsk Region Advanced Canoe Expedition in the Republic of Karelia Late July / Beginning August possibly in 2013 or 2014 Study Visit - Scout Network / Leaders An expedition to Russia aimed at establishing Group to Group Contacts in the Volga region of Novgorod / Kazan / Samara May 2013 St. Petersburg and surrounds An expedition due to take place in late July 2013 to last around 20 days. Visit will entail a visit to Moscow and St. Petersburg ending up at a summer camp with Russian Scouts. Visit International Opportunities at UK Scouts website -
