Bonfire Cake

  8 oz Self Raising Flour
  4 oz Stork Margarine
  4 oz Sugar
  1 lb Peeled Chopped Apples
  Pinch Salt
  6 oz Mixed Fruit
  1 Egg
  2 tbs Milk


In a food mixer using a K beater on slow speed rub the fat into the flour and then add all other ingredients.  Mix well and then put into a greased lined 7" cake tin.  Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 50 - 60 mins at Gas Mark 4.
