12 OZ Self Raising Flour
  8 oz Margarine - melted
  4 oz Caster Sugar


Mix the ingredients together and then press into a greased swiss roll tin.

Prick with a fork and cook in a hot oven 375F - 400F for 20 mins.

Cut into pieces and allow to cool on a wire rack.

My mother soon gave up making these as I didn't like them.  I preferred anything with chocolate in or on it.  However, I have made them recently and enjoyed their plain taste.  They are improved by using a good quality butter such as New Zealand Anchor.
